Your Personal JUGGLING ACT

In essence, if we want to direct our lives,
we must take control
of our consistent actions.
It’s not what we do once in awhile
that shapes our lives,
but what we do consistently.
Anthony Robbins - Author & Speaker

If you're exhausted by your attempts to stay on top of the many demands of your life, you're probably multi-tasking, wearing yourself to a frazzle in the process!.

Juggling and multi-tasking are often confused and frequently used interchangeably.  A closer look at the functions will point up key differences.

Juggling is handling several obligations consecutively, in and out of hand.

Multi-tasking implies fulfilling multiple responsibilities - all at the same time!

The Juggling Act
has been approved by the Illinois Nurses Association for continuing education credits.

What people are saying about The Juggling Act...

I had the opportunity to attend a leadership training session called “The Juggling Act.”  We learned that most of the time, what we typically call multi-tasking is actually juggling of priorities.  Karin challenged us that the human brain is not capable of really focusing on more than one thing at a time.  However, we can be really good at juggling multiple priorities.  She discussed the elements of multi-tasking as well as the expectations placed on us by ourselves or others.  Her presentation also included a very engaging group discussion.  By developing a greater awareness of the process and by an internal picture of what success in this area looks like for me, I have become a much more productive member of my team as well as a master juggler!!

Get ready for an edifying and profitable experience as you commit yourself to a day of getting away from it all...to managing it all.  In a warm, gracious atmosphere you will slay some sacred cows and in safety be encouraged to think out of the box to move forward in principles geared to free you to be a mover and a shaker.  You'll want more.  The main principle I learned, even weeks later, pops into my thinking on an almost daily basis.
D.Stevens - MI

An excellent professional presentation!  The principles taught will equip anyone to make better choices – resulting in greater personal achievement and satisfaction.  Time is a precious commodity.  This seminar trains us further in spending it wisely.
MT – Chicago

I found the seminar very enlightening.  I never was good at multitasking and now I know why – it doesn’t work!  This seminar provided several opportunities to apply the skills of “juggling” to every area of your life.  It was time well spent.
LM – Chicago

The Juggling Act workshop that I attended taught me a better way of making choices in my personal and professional life.  I learned how to prioritize my time wisely and opened my eyes to unnecessary expectations that I project upon myself.
TL – Chicago

The Juggling Act offers a fresh look at the age-old problem of time management.  It is informative and engaging in an interesting and well-organized format.  Women from all backgrounds and professions, sharing their own personal challenges, gave unique perspective into the challenges we all face in today’s society.  It gives an opportunity to examine personal issues you may not have realized you had.
RS - Chicago

  1. The Juggling Act really opened my eyes to the difference between multi-tasking & juggling. Before the Juggling Act I thought that the two were one and the same.
  2. The Juggling Act taught me how to see and grasp the difference between what is really important, what I think or perceive is important and what others have made me to believe is important.
  3. The Juggling Act has taught me that I don’t have to do everything now. That I’m not a bad person because I can’t fit everything in.
  4. It has taught me that I need to learn to make choices.
